OUR BACKGROUND
Kisubi Seminary was founded in 1951 by the Religious Order of the Missionaries of Africa.
Apart from providing high quality education, Kisubi seminary is committed to enriching the lives of the young people by giving them the opportunity to learn things of value aimed at improving their living conditions and quality of life.
While the main aim is to nuture vocations to the priesthood, the majority of the boys do not make it. However, they abundantly gain from the richness of the academic , Spiritual, moral and human formation in the school. A number of them have graduated from various universities in and outside Uganda and now serve in different sectors of society and the Church.
Kisubi Seminary combines Students from all regions of Uganda, Kenya , Tanzania, Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

LOCATION AND NATURE OF THE SEMINARY
Kisubi Seminary is located 15 miles off Entebbe - Kampala Higway. It was Started to nurture the seeds of vocations to the priesthood.
The Archdiocese of Kampala now runs it. Kisubi Seminary is committed to enriching the lives of the young people of Uganda by giving them the opportunity to learn the things of value aimed at improving their living conditions and quality of life.

Curriculum
Kisubi Seminary offers Arts and Science subjects.
There is the Ordinary level of four years and the Advanced level of two years.
At the end of the Six years, the students continue with their studies in the Major Seminary of join other Universities and Colleges.
Social Life
Seminarians have a number of games to promote physical growth. The games are; football, volley ball, basketball, badminton, lawn tennis, table tennis and woodball.

The Seminary has Spacious classrooms, a library and a computer laboratory, with internet connection. There are also Laboratories for Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

Spiritual Formation
Spiritual Life is at the heart of the operation of this seminary.
The Seminarians have a daily mass, daily rosary, morning and evening prayers, spiritual talks and regular confessions. Each Seminarian has a personal spiritual director who guides his spiritual and moral life.
Human formation involves character formation and training for leadership. Students are trained in a sense of duty and responsibility, honesty, transparency, proper judgement, prudence, accountability, openness and self-discipline.
Students are given opportunitites to exercise leadership as prefects at various levels, club leaders and christian movement leaders.
Each student is assigned a special place of work where he works two days in a week. Once a week, they are assigned work according to their houses. Its through these various duties that they are trained in a sense of duty, responsibility and leadership.
